Causes and Organs Affected:
Tuberculosis is caused by an organism called Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
Organs affected - Respiratory Organs - Mainly the lungs.
Risk Factor:
Close contact with someone with infectious TB, country of origin, weaked immuned system, Malnutrition and older people
Treatment:
Prolonged use of Antibiotics for up to nine months to destroy the TB bacteria. The exact drugs and length of treatment depend on your age, overall health, possible drug resistance, the form of TB (latent or active) and its location in the body.
