As a preventative, include the following foods into your diet: apples, asparagus, freshly grated raw beetroot, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers, dates, lettuce, lemons, peaches, spring onions, potatoes, raisins, sesame seeds, spinach, strawberries, tomatoes & turnips
Dandelion is one of the best herbs for treating liver complaints & can be taken as a tea. Other good herb teas are: borage, celery, nettle, parsley, peppermint & rosemary.
