Rubbing jojoba oil onto sore joints may give relief
Avoid foods which produce uric acid, such as eggs, legumes, nuts & seeds
Include all citrus fruits in your diet, as well as pineapple, grapes, figs, nectarines, cherries, strawberries & watermelon
Include the following vegetables in your diet: artichokes asparagus, celery, cucumbers, young dandelion greens, garlic & lettuce
Include the following herbs in your diet: chickweed, horseradish, dandelion root, elderflowers, feverfew, yarrow, licorice root, stinging nettles, parsley, chamomile & meadowsweet. Take any of these herbs as a tea 1 hr between meals
Swelling & pain - dissolve 5ml of chamomile, lavender or rosemary essential oils in 45 ml of olive oil & rub into affected area. Store in an airtight amber coloured glass bottle & use within 2 months
