Stomach Problems
- Cramps & stomachaches -place a chopped up piece of ginger root in a ceramic bowl & cover with 1 cup of boiling water. Strain& sip frequently; drink a cup of peppermint or spearmint tea 3 times daily.
- Upset stomach - drink 1 teaspoon of spirit of balm in a glass of water 3 times daily (children take 15 drops in water 3 times daily)
- Digestive disorders - make a paste of 1 teaspoon of slippery elm with sufficient cold water. Sir into a cup of hot milk or water & sweeten with honey. Take once daily
- Ulcers - eat a small piece of raw potato before each meal will assist with pain & help heal the ulcer; drink 1 cup of lime blossom or chamomile tea 2 to 3 times daily
